TOP SIX COVICTED POLITICIANS IN NIGERIA________ YOU WON'T BELIEVE NO.3


1. Gabriel Daudu: The former Kogi State ex member of Parliament was arraigned by EFCC for laundering about $7m (N2.2bn) sometime ago. It’s like some of these people should just start a Feed Nigeria Foundation LOL!

The Ex-lawmaker in 2016, was found guilty of and was sent to spend two years in jail.
2. DIEPREYE ALAMIEYESEIGHA: The late once upon a time governor of Bayelsa state, was cheered and waved at with leaves to welcome him back to his hometown.This was after he skipped bail in Britain on charges of laundering a whooping $120m (N3.7Billion).
This Man was said to have escaped the Europe dressed in a female attire and a forged passport. Wawuu! Alamieyeseigha must have seen a lot of foreign movies while he was alive for him to actually put that stunt. In 2006 he was eventually sentenced to two years in prison.
3. TAFA BALOGUN: Former Inspector-General of Police who was convicted for pocketing public money and taking bribes of N10 billion from politicians and criminals is one of those that rocks our list.
Balogun was sent to 6 months in prison in 2005, after he crossed the line. The court ordered Tafa to pay a fine of N4 million, while about $150 million worth of cash and property was seized by the federal government during that process.
4. JAMES IBORI: The present day celebrated ex convict was given a standing ovation at his arrival in his hometown Oghara, Delta State after his arrival from the prison in the United Kingdom.
Ibrori is said to have embezzled $250m (N78.6billion) of Nigerian public funds, More like the people he stole from are celebrating him. Arrangements are said have been made for Ibori to join APC. So as to keep walking freely after being convicted in 2012.
5. OLABODE IBIYINKA GEORGE: Bode George as he popularly called was  arraigned  on a 163 count-charge of conspiracy, disobedience to lawful order, abuse of office and illegal award of contracts worth N84 billion while he was chairman of the Nigerian Ports Authority. 
Bode George was found guilty and sentenced to jail for  two years each on a seven-count charge and another six months each on a 28-count charge in 2009. Feels like the longest jail term, though with no uniform and home made meals were allowed. Ok oooo.
6. CECILIA IBRU: The former CEO of Oceanic Bank was sentenced to six months in prison after she pleaded guilty to three of 25 counts of fraud and mismanagement in 2010.
The iconic money woman, LOL was ordered to hand over $1.2bn (£786m) in cash and assets *mouth open*. I hope she still has some cash left.
